March 26 spaghetti dinner to benefit local youth

Columbia, S.C., March 9, 2010—A spaghetti dinner is scheduled for Friday, March 26 from 5 to 7 PM at The Salvation Army in Irmo (7532 Irmo Drive).

Funds raised will support youth from The Salvation Army’s Irmo Corps (church) so they can attend a spiritual weekend retreat. Menu items will include spaghetti, salad, dessert, rolls and a beverage for $5.50, dine in or carry out.

“We invite everyone from the community to come enjoy a hot dinner at an affordable price,” said Sergeant Terry Hertzog. “Joining us for a plate of pasta and salad will help send our youth to what could be a life-changing weekend retreat.”
