Hope Passes
The Hope Pass is a new cooperative effort among The Salvation Army, The Cooperative Ministry and Harvest Hope Food Bank.
The purpose of the Hope Pass is twofold:
First, the pass recipient is entitled to CMRTA bus transportation to our downtown location.
Second, the person in need is entitled to a meal card good for one day.
The Hope Pass serves three constituencies in our community:
- For the recipient, the Hope Pass offers an opportunity for a hot meal, a warm place to stay during the day and access to an array of community services.
- For the individual in the community, the Hope Pass provides a compassionate alternative to refusing requests for help from people in need.
- For business and organizations, the Hope Pass creates opportunities for constructive aid to folks in need.
