Shoe Fund
The Shoe Fund supports school children throughout the year and is coordinated with the school districts.
Students recommended by teachers and guidance counselors receive a gift card to purchase a new pair of shoes.
Shoes that fit properly are essential for the physical and emotional health of growing children. Yet many families cannot meet these basic needs.
Every year the Shoe Fund helps 250 school children.
The Salvation Army partners with the Shoe Department and Shoe Show so that children and their families can go into the store and pick out shoes that fit and are appropriate for their needs.
